When the Leprechaun Met Hannah’s Easter Bunny

Illustrated by Hannah Yorke Gambhir (then age 6)

The Easter Bunny was sad.  He did notBunny

have enough paint to paint all of his Easter Eggs.  Now he could not give

Easter Eggs to all the girls and boys.

LeprechaunThe Leprechaun was sad.  He had lost   his lucky Four Leaf Clover in the clover

patch.  Now he could not hide his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

What could the Easter Bunny do?

What could the Leprechaun do?

The Easter Bunny said to the Leprechaun, “I can find your Lucky Four Leaf Clover.”

The Leprechaun said to the Easter Bunny, “I can paint your Easter Eggs with my Rainbow paint.”

The Easter Bunny hopped over to the clover patch and began to nibble.

Soon he said, “I found it!”

Happy BunnyHappy Leprechaun

The Leprechaun got out his Rainbow paint and started to paint the Easter Eggs.  Soon he said, “I am finished!”

The Leprechaun was very happy.  He could hide his pot of gold at the end of his rainbow.

The Easter bunny was very happy.  He could give Easter Eggs to all the boys and girls.
