Spring on Cherry Blossom Farm

It was Spring on Cherry Blossom Farm. Bees were buzzing. Butterflies were fluttering. Flowers were blooming. Trees were blossoming. The garden was filled with beautiful colours. It was very pretty.

All of the animals on Cherry Blossom Farm were happy – everyone except Mother Hen. Mother Hen was not happy because she was cooped up in her chicken coop. She had to sit on her eggs and she could not come out to see Spring.

The Easter Bunny saw that Mother Hen was sad. She was sad because she had to stay in her dreary old hen house.

After bringing Easter eggs to all of the children, the Easter Bunny tip-toed into Mother Hen’s hen house and left her a surprise.

When Mother Hen woke up on Easter Morning she saw a wonderful sight. The Easter Bunny had painted all of Mother Hen’s eggs red, blue, green, yellow, purple and orange so that she could enjoy the Spring colours, too!
